We're more than half way through the summer, if you can believe it, and now is a great time to go back and look at President and Sister Nelson's message to the youth from back on June 3. If you haven't done your 7-day social media fast, now is the time! But remember, the counsel wasn't just a social media fast... there was more to that challenge, AND there were more challenges than just that one. Listen to and act on the message of a prophet of God, and watch the Lord God shake the heavens for your good (D&C 21:4-6). Thanks to everyone that participated in the Miracle Week(s) activity. We not only reached our goal of 5000 miracles, but we surpassed it, getting 7847 miracles across all three schools that were involved (Box Elder, Ridegline, and Mountain Crest). Don't let it stop here. Continue watching for miracles with your spiritual eyes. President Eyring teaches: "...I would ponder this question: 'Have I seen the hand of God reaching out to touch us or our children or our family today?' As I kept at it, something began to happen. As I would cast my mind over the day, I would see evidence of what God had done for one of us that I had not recognized in the busy moments of the day. As that happened, and it happened often, I realized that trying to remember had allowed God to show me what He had done" ("O Remember, Remember," October 2007). The more we look, the more we'll see that the Lord is doing just as many miracles now among His people as He was for His people in the New Testament.

Here is a video from the past that will remind you all to LETTER IN SEMINARY! Please pass it on! 1. Read the entire Book of Mormon. 2. Memorize 25 scriptures from the Book of Mormon. 3. Memorize the Books of the Book of Mormon (easy). Wear your wristbands proudly, and let it be a reminder to read the Book of Mormon, memorize scriptures, and invite others to seminary. 2nd trimester students, you will earn a wristband soon! Your Bishop will reward you with a certificate if you finish the Book of Mormon before May 15th, and you will receive an extra tie pin, or necklace if you letter. There is no better year to letter! Let's go!
